Maria Masuda born in Fukui, Japan in 1999, Maria Masuda began her piano studies at the age of 4. At 18, she began studying with Masako Ezaki and Shinji Urakabe at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in Tokyo and she graduated with honors. She is currently a student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just and Marek Bracha.

She has won numerous awards including 1st prize in “The 2nd Senzoku Gakuen College of Music Piano Competition” (2018), the 3rd prize in The 24th "Yangtze River Cup" International Music Competition (2021), the 4th place in the 42nd All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition (1st prize not awarded)(2021). Maria has also won the 1st place and Jury's award in the Elevato International Competition of Youth (2023).

She has appeared "Evening of Piano Concerto with Electronic Organs" sponsored by Senzoku Gakuen, playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 conducted by Satoshi Takeuchi (2019), “Evening of Piano Concerto” playing Piano Concerto by Grieg conducted by Kazuyoshi Akiyama (2020).

She has performed at the Young Talents Concert 2023 organized by the Chopin institute at the Chopin Museum. She gave a recital at the Kawai Omotesando Concert Salon "Pause" sponsored by the Japan Chopin Society. She has also performed at Suntory Hall, Tokyo Cultural Hall, Steinway & Sons Tokyo in Japan, Bank Austria Salon im alten Rathaus in Vienna and Hermann J. Abs Chamber Music Hall in Germany and so on.
